The Education Services Exhibition of the 2024 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) opened grandly on September 12 at Hall 7 of Shougang Park , under the theme “Openness, Cooperation, Innovation, and Development: Shaping New Momentum for Educational Growth.”

With the exhibition’s launch, Beijing Polytechnic University made a remarkable appearance at this year’s CIFTIS. The school seamlessly integrated the distinctive strengths of its seven major professional disciplines , offering an interactive experience zone where specialized knowledge became accessible to all. This showcase highlighted the institution’s profound expertise and forward-thinking approach in curriculum development, as well as its innovative practices in industry-education integration and university-enterprise collaboration . Through high-definition videos, infographics, and physical exhibits , the school also detailed its international partnerships with globally renowned universities, research institutions, and corporations.

During the opening ceremony, Zhang Qihong , Secretary of the University’s Party Committee, and Jason Fitzsimmons , President of Melaka University (Malaysia) , signed a strategic cooperation agreement to establish the school’s second overseas vocational training base in Malaysia . This milestone not only marks another leap forward in the institution’s globalization strategy but also bridges skills exchange between Chinese and Malaysian youth , fostering deeper collaboration in vocational education between China, Malaysia, and the wider ASEAN region—further strengthening regional ties.

Following the ceremony, Ma Jun , Vice Mayor of Beijing, and Li Yi , Director of the Municipal Education Commission, toured the school’s exhibition booth under Zhang Qihong’s guidance , commending its developmental achievements.
