Our school has completed the on-campus evaluation work of the quality of higher education for international students coming to China.

On April 17th, the Beijing Municipal Education Commission carried out the on-campus evaluation of the quality of higher education for international students coming to China at our school. The school held an inspection briefing meeting in the lecture hall of the Comprehensive Building. Liu Liang, a fourth-level researcher of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office of the Beijing Municipal Education Commission, all members of the evaluation expert group, Yao Guangye, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of the school, Chen Jiangfeng, Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of the school, as well as representatives of relevant functional department heads attended the meeting.

Yao Guangye extended a welcome to the expert group on behalf of the school and emphasized that international student education is an important part of the school's international development and of great significance for improving the school's international education level. He stated that this evaluation is a systematic project to comprehensively inspect the education work of international students coming to our school. The school will take this certification as an opportunity to accelerate the high-quality development of international student education.


Chen Jiangfeng reported the school's international student education work to the evaluation expert group from three aspects: the basic overview of the school, the development orientation of the school's international education, and its characteristics and highlights.


During the on-campus evaluation, the evaluation expert group comprehensively reviewed and conducted on-site inspections of each observation point in accordance with the certification index system. The expert group conducted interviews and exchanges with the heads of functional departments, representatives of the management department responsible for international students coming to China, representatives of counselors, heads of departments and faculties, representatives of teaching staff, and representatives of international students. They conducted on-site inspections of teaching venues and other places, and attended and observed classes. They also reviewed and retrieved relevant archives and supporting materials for the enrollment, teaching, and student management of international students coming to China on the spot, gaining a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the education management and cultivation of international students coming to the school.

On the afternoon of the same day, the school held a preliminary feedback session and work exchange meeting for the on-site evaluation in Conference Room 701 of the Administrative Building. The expert group pointed out that the international student education in our school has given full play to the advantageous characteristics of vocational education, with a clear positioning. It has established a relatively complete education service management system for international students, has a strong teaching staff, complete hardware facilities, and good practical training conditions. At the same time, the evaluation expert group also pointed out the existing deficiencies in international student education and provided improvement suggestions.

Chen Jiangfeng made a statement on behalf of the school. He said that the school humbly accepts the issues pointed out by the expert group and will hold a special meeting to ensure that all the feedback issues are addressed and responded to. The school will earnestly implement the feedback opinions of the expert group in the follow-up work.


Taking this evaluation as an opportunity, the school will adhere to the guiding principle of promoting construction through evaluation, comprehensively strengthen the construction of international student education and teaching, continuously improve the quality assurance system, further enhance the level of international student education, create the brand of "Studying at the Electronic Science and Technology School", actively give play to the advantageous characteristics of vocational education, and achieve the high-quality and sustainable development of the school's international student education cause.
