From July 28th to August 10th, teachers and students from our school were invited to the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) in Singapore to carry out the "China-Germany-Singapore" Youth Exchange Activity among the three countries. The purpose of this exchange is to strengthen the cooperation and understanding in the field of vocational education among the three countries, enhance the understanding and mutual trust among the young people of the three countries, and also provide a rare opportunity for international exchange for teachers and students.

During the research and study period, the Institute of Technical Education in Singapore arranged a rich variety of cultural and professional courses. Teachers with rich teaching experience from countries such as Singapore and Malaysia gave lessons to the students from the three countries. Through participating in case studies, debates, and problem-solving activities, students were cultivated with critical thinking and analytical abilities. In group projects and team activities, they learned the skills of effective communication, leadership, and cross-cultural teamwork. The young students from the three countries not only improved their English proficiency but also further broadened their international horizons.

Student cultural exchange is an important part of educational cooperation and people-to-people exchanges, aiming to promote mutual understanding and respect and strengthen the friendship among the younger generation. The education system in Singapore reflects its multicultural characteristics. Students can communicate with classmates from different backgrounds and understand the cultural differences between Asia and Europe. The students from our school had discussions with the students from Singapore and Germany and enjoyed a cultural feast. On the occasion of Singapore's National Day, the Institute of Technical Education prepared a rich and interesting celebration for the students from the three countries, allowing the students to have a deeper experience of Singapore's open and diverse cultural atmosphere.

To further improve the ability to apply professional knowledge, the students from the three countries made in-depth visits to the Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation in Singapore, the Monetary Authority of Singapore, Prudential Assurance Company, etc. Under the introduction of the staff, the students learned about the management of Singapore's financial and insurance industries, the current development status of customer service, and the great significance of intellectual property protection and other aspects to the development of Singapore's financial and insurance industries.

The teachers and students from the three countries also visited the Singapore History Museum together to further understand the history of Singapore and the origin of its diverse culture.

Liang Xinpeng, a member of the visiting group, said that this study trip to the Institute of Technical Education in Singapore, participating in academic seminars with the students from Germany and Singapore, listening to high-level lectures, experiencing diverse cultures, broadening the horizons, and improving the English proficiency have played a good role in promoting personal growth and professional learning.
Earlier, our school had signed a cooperation agreement with the Institute of Technical Education in Singapore. This visit has further deepened the connection between our school and the vocational education community in Singapore, laying a solid foundation for promoting all-round cooperation in the future. Both sides look forward to carrying out more joint projects and exchange activities in the future, jointly promoting the in-depth development of vocational education and the friendly relations between China and Singapore.
