On the afternoon of May 4th, Mr. Torge Fischer, the referent of the international cooperationof Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University,visited Beijing Polytechnic and discussed the cooperation program.President Yao Guangyeand Vice President Chen Jiangfeng met with the guest.

Yao Guangye welcomed Mr. Fischer's arrival and introduced the school'soverall situation, characteristics and cooperation history with German vocational education. Mr. Fischer expressed gratitude for the warm reception and said that there are many similarities between the two schools,especially the "dual system" educational philosophy,which is an important foundation for thecooperation.

After the visit to the School of Automotive Engineering and the School of Telecommunication Engineering, the two parties had detailed and deep communication on the next step of cooperation, including the introduction of the German dual education system, student exchange, teacher training and the possibility of "3+1" and "2+2" dual degree model.
